Peoplecare, a not‑for‑profit Australian health insurer covering more than 80,000 people, set out to become a data‑driven organisation to improve reporting, speed decision‑making and increase responsiveness to members. Facing issues with data accuracy and executive engagement, Peoplecare worked with Prometheus’ HAMBS‑integrated analytics and the Yellowfin BI platform to create intuitive dashboards and a trusted analytics environment.

Using Yellowfin’s visualisation and drill‑down capabilities embedded in Prometheus, Peoplecare built a new data warehouse and rolled out four of five core dashboards (claims, memberships, terminations, profitability and monthly snapshots) within two years. The Yellowfin-enabled solution delivered strong executive buy‑in, daily use by managers to validate assumptions, faster identification of issues and better product design decisions — concrete improvements in performance tracking and member responsiveness with the final profitability dashboard due to go live before year end.
