POS Online Store, an Atlanta-based point-of-sale retailer serving thousands of businesses since 2000, needed a professional, scalable online storefront to retail many industry brands and simplify catalog and inventory management on Yahoo’s Linux-based store platform. POS Online Store engaged Ydeveloper to design and implement e-commerce solutions using RTML (Yahoo Store templates), Ajax, JavaScript and PHP adapted to Yahoo’s linear CSV-manageable database environment.
Ydeveloper built custom RTML templates and front-end enhancements plus a CSV-driven database workflow to streamline product updates, inventory management and user experience across the store’s broad hardware portfolio. As a result, Ydeveloper helped POS Online Store simplify catalog maintenance, support future MySQL migration, improve site usability and operational efficiency, enabling the company to better serve customers and scale its online sales.
