Hen-Feathers (HenFeathers.com) is an online retailer of signature home and garden statues, fountains, clocks and decor. Constrained by the Yahoo Store environment and its linear, CSV-managed product database, Hen-Feathers needed a customized storefront and smoother product-management and interactive features. Ydeveloper was engaged to work within the Yahoo Store stack using RTML templates and client-side technologies (AJAX, JavaScript) and to integrate with the CSV-based catalog workflow.

Ydeveloper implemented custom RTML templates, AJAX-driven UI enhancements and server-side scripting where needed to integrate the CSV product database with the Linux-based Yahoo server, streamlining catalog imports and enabling richer, more responsive product pages. As a result, Ydeveloper helped Hen-Feathers simplify and speed product updates, improve site responsiveness and usability, and reduce the manual effort required to maintain their online catalog.
