Hard Candy Cases, a maker of protective cases for iPhone, iPod, iPad, tablets and MacBook, engaged Ydeveloper to build and customize their Yahoo Store presence. The challenge was to create a polished, easy-to-manage online storefront using Yahoo’s RTML template language while integrating Ajax, JavaScript and PHP functionality and handling inventory via Yahoo’s linear CSV-based database on a Linux-based Yahoo server.

Ydeveloper implemented customized RTML templates, front-end Ajax/JavaScript enhancements and server-side PHP integration, and tied the site into the CSV inventory workflow supported by Yahoo. The result was a live, polished store with streamlined inventory updates and promotional product pages (e.g., the HarvestCraft Slider iPhone 5c and iPad offerings), enabling Hard Candy Cases to manage catalog changes more efficiently and present a better shopping experience.
