Fresh Marine is a one-stop retailer for saltwater fish, reef aquariums and marine supplies that needed a reliable e-commerce storefront able to present live livestock and manage a large catalog. Ydeveloper was engaged to build the store on the Yahoo Store platform, working within the Yahoo Linux server environment and database constraints using RTML template design plus Ajax, JavaScript and PHP.

Ydeveloper implemented a Yahoo Store solution with custom RTML templates and client/server scripting, and integrated the catalog with Yahoo’s linear CSV-manageable database to streamline product listings and inventory workflows. The result was a functioning online storefront that improved catalog management and product presentation for Fresh Marine; no specific quantitative metrics were reported in the case material.
