Exterior Accents, a retailer of premium exterior products, needed a more attractive, functional online storefront on the Yahoo Store platform while working within Yahoo’s technology constraints (RTML, Ajax, JavaScript, PHP) and a linear CSV-manageable database on a Linux-based Yahoo server. Ydeveloper was engaged to address these platform- and presentation-related challenges and modernize the store experience.

Ydeveloper implemented custom RTML templates and integrated Ajax, JavaScript and PHP-driven features, while streamlining product management through CSV imports (with optional MySQL support) and tuning the site for the Yahoo Linux environment. The result was a cleaner, more dynamic storefront with improved usability and simplified inventory updates, enabling Exterior Accents to showcase products more effectively and manage catalog changes more efficiently.
