Iconic fashion company dresses midtown store with digital signage

Polo Ralph Lauren was opening its first-ever Polo flagship on 5th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan and needed a way to stand out in a hectic, tourist-heavy retail environment and draw shoppers to its new women's line. To solve this challenge the retailer worked with YCD Multimedia, deploying its Cnario Digital Signage Suite to deliver targeted runway and promotional content across massive in-store video arrays.

YCD Multimedia, together with partners Media Services Worldwide, Sharp and NEC, implemented a multi-screen solution highlighted by a 3 x 7 Sharp video wall (60” panels, 15' x 35') plus additional Sharp 70” and 60” screens and NEC 55” arrays, all running 24/7 content with synced audio and custom mounting. The digital signage has created an immersive shopping experience, allowed live feeds and announcements, and helped Polo Ralph Lauren attract shoppers in a competitive location — the solution has since been rolled out to seven of the brand’s newest stores.
