Connections Travel Agency Enlists Ycd to Take Their Consumers on a Digital Vacation Through In-Store Display

Connections, a Belgium travel agency founded in 1986 with 30 locations, wanted an in-store experience that would do more than static maps or photos — they needed a dynamic display able to integrate videos, photos and live feeds in real time. To meet this challenge they engaged YCD Multimedia, using YCD’s Cnario software together with Mediabutler to design a high-impact digital showcase.

YCD Multimedia (with partner ThisPlays2) implemented a 19‑screen Samsung LED video collage plus a three-screen narrowcasting system with integrated queuing and synchronized music, streaming destination videos, live weather, social feeds and real-time flight rates. The installation created a cutting-edge store atmosphere, lowered perceived wait times and drove measurable business results: Connections’ holiday sales rose by 13.7% after the video collage was installed.
