Rhaetian Railway, a Swiss railroad company serving around 12 million passengers each year, wanted a better way to identify travelers and gather useful customer insights because many tickets are booked through external platforms. The company worked with yawave and its User Interaction Suite to create direct interaction points across the journey, including trains, the website, service centers, and infotainment systems.
Using yawave’s feedback, share, and interaction tools, Rhaetian Railway collected feedback, ran contests, and captured contact data with consent management and multilingual support. The result was more than 3,500 new contacts from feedback surveys alone, with email opt-in rates reaching 89% at Railservice, 68% on the Bernina Express website, and 72% on trains, helping RhB turn passenger interactions into measurable business potential.
