Dr. Martens, the rapidly growing British footwear and accessories brand shifting more of its business to D2C and e-commerce, needed to adopt activity-based working while scaling from a 220-capacity HQ to 550+ staff and contractors. To bring clarity to employees and manage flexible seating across multiple sites, Dr. Martens chose YAROOMS and its desk booking software (deployed through Microsoft Teams).
YAROOMS implemented interactive floor maps and desk booking across three office locations, letting employees visually find and reserve desks and nearby colleagues, which reduced friction and increased transparency so staff now know where, when, and with whom they will sit. YAROOMS’ user-friendly, easily configurable platform has enabled Dr. Martens to run flexible seating at scale, support ongoing office adjustments, and rely on a partner that can quickly add, renumber or relocate desks as the business grows.
