Ryder, a 3PL managing transportation and warehousing for a global consumer goods company across plants in Mexico and distribution centers in Texas, California and Ohio, faced fragmented local databases, Excel and whiteboard tracking, and manual fax/phone/email communications. Their goals were to get everyone on a single database, provide network visibility to internal and external customers, enable proactive shipment alerts, eliminate ad‑hoc tracking methods, and reduce data‑entry and associated errors.
