The Sterling Group, founded in 1976, develops and manages multifamily, senior and self‑storage properties across the Midwest and Southeast, overseeing a portfolio of over 6,000 units. The marketing team needed maintainable, branded property websites that could be updated centrally for communities in different states; their previous solution left sites quickly outdated and lacked a full online leasing and resident-service experience.
Yardi’s RENTCafé delivered dynamic property sites that allow corporate and onsite staff to edit images and content, offer complete online leasing, and run targeted “nudge” marketing and resident-communication tools. As a result Sterling shortened the leasing cycle (especially for out‑of‑area prospects), reduced paperwork and data entry by centralizing prospect/resident data, and improved resident engagement and retention through portals, messaging and integrated payment options.
