Fort Smith Housing Authority (FSHA) develops, rehabilitates and manages safe, affordable housing in Fort Smith, focusing on public and affordable housing. Serving more than 1,600 housing choice vouchers and managing 288 affordable units plus 170 LIHTC units, FSHA faced an industry-wide shift: repurposing aging public housing, expanding subsidy programs and increasing compliance complexity, and needed a software platform to support that growth.

FSHA implemented Yardi Voyager PHA (and related Yardi modules), which provided unified workflows for operations, finance, maintenance and subsidy compliance, plus paperless certifications, payment processing and easier voucher portability. The platform and responsive Yardi support helped FSHA convert public housing into new affordable units, maintain timely reporting and compliance, and scale program growth while keeping staff processes efficient.
