Silverado, an Irvine-based senior care provider managing 34 properties across the West Coast and Midwest, specializes in assisted living, memory care, hospice and home services. Its accounting operation relied on 12 disparate systems that didn’t integrate with the general ledger, required manual data entry, delayed approvals and reconciliation, and effectively acted as a check-writing system rather than a true accounts payable solution.

Silverado implemented Yardi Voyager Senior Housing with Yardi PayScan to enable paperless invoice processing, online approval workflows and integrated reporting. Within three weeks most invoices were migrated, invoice review and processing times improved, coding accuracy increased, and efficiencies created by PayScan allowed one person to manage work that had previously required the AP team.
