A Yardi Case Study
ALCO Management, a Southeast affordable-housing operator managing 59 properties and 5,947 residential units, needed a better way to deliver consistent, compliant training across its teams. Their hybrid program of in-person, live virtual, and limited online courses made scheduling difficult, created administrative overhead, and left many role-specific compliance topics taught unevenly by in-house instructors — challenges that became more acute during the COVID pandemic.
ALCO expanded use of Yardi Aspire to create role-based learning plans combining Yardi’s proprietary courses with custom modules built by an instructional designer. Centralizing training in Aspire enabled automated reporting and alerts, faster updates when HUD or state rules changed, and reliable remote onboarding. The result was reduced administration, more effective and consistent training across locations, and greater confidence in compliance and workforce readiness.
