Keeps brings tactile retail to Marlow with The Yard Creative in a 2-floor store design

The Yard Creative was engaged by Keeps, a British handmade pottery brand, to address the challenge of translating its successful direct-to-consumer (D2C) online presence into a physical retail experience. The goal was to create a tactile and experiential store that would bring the brand to life in a listed building in Marlow.

The Yard Creative designed a multi-floor store that reflected the brand's ethos. The solution included a ground-floor boutique showcasing pottery and an upstairs studio for both production and public classes. This design created a community-focused, sustainable space that celebrated the craft's imperfections. The vendor's work was so successful that the client reported universal acclaim for the store's appearance and even considered submitting it for an industry award.
