Yapp serves as La Cantera Resort & Spa's primary internal communication tool

La Cantera Resort & Spa, a luxury property managed by Destination Hotels, faced a major internal-communication gap: only about 100 of its 450 associates had regular desk access, so bulletin boards, email and calls failed to keep frontline staff informed. To solve this, La Cantera adopted Yapp in September 2014 as its primary mobile internal-communication tool.

Yapp delivered a suite of apps (internal communications, a private leadership app and HR rollouts) that put forms, announcements, training videos and event orders in associates’ pockets. The result: 1,300+ installs, 450 employees engaged, 670+ in-app interactions, the ability to reach every associate vs. roughly 25% by email before, and improved frontline service, training access and employee camaraderie — all credited directly to Yapp.
