A Powerful Weather Mapping Platform for First Responders

Genesis PULSE, a cloud-hosted, browser-delivered CAD enhancement from Tyler, TX, needed a single, reliable map view so 9-1-1 dispatchers could quickly see responder locations, availability and approaching weather without juggling multiple displays. To solve that challenge, Genesis PULSE partnered with Xweather to bring integrated, real-time weather information directly into its map-centric dispatch interface.

Xweather implemented a detailed weather overlay—radar, storm cells and severe-weather alerts—on the PULSE Live Tracking Map, enabling dispatchers and first responders to plan routes to avoid the worst of a storm, view conditions across their service area, and replay incidents for after-action review. The Xweather-enabled solution consolidates responders, callers and weather on one intuitive screen, helping agencies make faster, more safety-conscious dispatch decisions and paving the way for new weather-driven capabilities.
