Pelco Component Technologies, a multi-generational designer and manufacturer of commercial and industrial electronic components, faced growth and operational constraints from running three disparate systems (standalone CRM, an accounting package, and a locally built “MRP-ish” tool). Seeking a flexible, cost-effective ERP that could be modified to match their workflows and support local job growth, Pelco evaluated and selected xTuple’s ERP solution.
xTuple implemented its ERP (hosted on-site) with the xTuple Connect add-on and followed a phased pilot and implementation methodology, replacing manual spreadsheets and disparate systems with an integrated quote-to-cash platform. The result: doubled throughput on a second shift, 15% improvement in shop-floor productivity, 15% better production inventory availability and planning accuracy, a 75% reduction in repetitive data entry, faster order processing and delivery, and completion of ISO certification in under a year — all enabled by xTuple.
