RTÉ selected the Xtremepush platform (including its SDK and CMS API integration) to enable real-time, personalised messaging across web, mobile and email while maintaining reliability and speed.
Xtremepush implemented an integrated solution — SDK deployment, CMS integration, and multichannel campaigns (automated email, browser and app push, in‑app messaging) with full analytics and CRM — enabling RTÉ’s editorial team to self-serve. The results were measurable: during Storm Ophelia RTÉ sent 17 push campaigns (≈7 million messages) and drove 25.5 million page views (3× average), grew its user base 5.55%, increased news sign-ups 21% and engagement by 75%; Xtremepush’s platform also delivered record message volumes and campaign reporting.
