Where It’s Live (WiL) is a sports and entertainment app that helps users find bars and venues showing live sporting events, what they serve and current offers. WiL needed a way to engage users based on real-world location to promote live sports and venue-specific promotions—notably for a Heineken location-specific campaign in Dublin—so it partnered with Xtremepush to leverage Geo-Fencing, beacons, audience segmentation and in‑app vouchers.
Xtremepush deployed Geo-Fencing push notifications and on-premises beacon messages plus an in-app voucher for redemption and tracking, delivering hyper-relevant, real-time offers. The campaign drove a 205% increase in in-app traffic, an 82% promotion conversion rate, and higher venue footfall and revenue, while enabling ongoing segmentation and automated messaging for future brand engagement.
