Metz Culinary Management, a family-owned foodservice operator founded in 1994 that manages more than 250 locations across healthcare, education, corporate dining and restaurants, faced a growing challenge: managers were spending too much time in the office handling paper invoices instead of delivering their “Guest First” service. To address this, Metz turned to xtraCHEF to automate invoice processing and reduce time-consuming, error-prone manual paperwork.
xtraCHEF was rolled out to all 250+ foodservice facilities and corporate offices to digitize invoices (via mobile app, scan or email), automatically extract location-specific line-item data, and integrate that data into CTUIT and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. The solution eliminated manual coding and data entry, significantly cut administrative effort and related accounts-payable costs, and freed managers to spend more time focused on guests.
