A Xtivia Case Study
Our Client, a top insurance provider covering 32 counties across two Midwestern states and offering 40 health plans, faced a data-warehouse that could not scale to growing ad hoc analytics or a proposed SaaS model. They lacked an automated ETL to consolidate patient and insurance data for grouper processing and wanted to reduce dependence on third-party grouper vendors. XTIVIA proposed a scalable analytics platform and grouper integration to meet these needs, including recommendation of the Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance 2650.
XTIVIA implemented an end-to-end solution: Teradata 2650 hosting, automated Linux-scheduled ETL (landing, staging, grouper processing and final analytics load), Teradata Viewpoint monitoring, multi-tenant data model and audit/restart-capable ETL. The result was a scalable centralized analytics platform supporting SaaS tenants, a flexible secure multi‑tenant model, compatibility with in‑house grouper processing (reducing annual grouper file effort and future costs), and new revenue opportunities per tenant — enabling the Client to share best practices and scale analytics across partners.
