A non-profit religious group was running an unclustered, multi-tenant Liferay 6.1 EE environment on Windows with Microsoft SQL Server and needed to migrate to a cloud-based, clustered Liferay 6.2 EE on Linux with MySQL while also making their sites responsive. XTIVIA was engaged to assess the existing implementation and define the upgrade and migration scope.

XTIVIA performed a detailed assessment, identified content migration and responsive design as the primary efforts, produced a migration plan, and executed the upgrade to Liferay 6.2 EE in a clustered cloud environment on Linux/MySQL. XTIVIA completed the migration and responsive site work over a three-month period, delivering a live Liferay v6.2 system with fully responsive sites.
