The customer, a National Auto Parts Chain, was running an older Liferay CE edition and evaluating a move to Drupal. XTIVIA was engaged to assess their portal and recommend a path forward, including migration to Liferay 6.2 EE and adoption of the Liferay EE subscription to modernize sites and improve responsiveness.
XTIVIA performed a detailed assessment, identified content migration and responsive redesign as the largest efforts, produced a phased migration plan, and executed it — delivering Liferay v6.2 and making the two largest sites fully responsive. The project went live in six weeks, demonstrating XTIVIA’s ability to accelerate platform upgrades and deliver measurable time-to-value.
