Industrial Equipment Company, a major U.S. industrial equipment manufacturer, needed a repeatable DevOps strategy and proof-of-concept to modernize and harden its Liferay portal operations — addressing source control, versioning, automated builds, continuous integration, deployments, testing, high availability, patching and monitoring. XTIVIA was engaged to define the strategy and deliver the Liferay DevOps proof-of-concept.

XTIVIA stitched together tools including Git, Nexus, Maven, JIRA, Bamboo, Stash, JMeter, Selenium and JUnit to automate source management, builds, CI/CD pipelines, functional and load testing, deployments and systems monitoring for Liferay. The XTIVIA implementation produced a repeatable DevOps pipeline that streamlined deployments, automated testing and patching, and improved reliability and maintainability of the Liferay environment — enabling faster, more predictable releases and easier high‑availability operations.
