A Xtivia Case Study
HaitiOne, part of Mission of Hope, Haiti, needed a cost-effective, scalable portal to help partner organizations showcase services, locations, and profile information while keeping within a strict budget. XTIVIA was brought in to deliver the HaitiOne site using Liferay, with requirements for a complex taxonomy, partner organization sites, and better user engagement.
XTIVIA implemented the solution on Liferay using out-of-the-box features, vocabularies and categories, organization sites, message boards, blogs, and a responsive Bootstrap-based theme. The first phase launched on October 29, 2014 at the HaitiOne conference, where representatives from more than 60 organizations saw the platform and provided feedback, validating a solution that was easy to use, mobile-friendly, and built to scale for future enhancements.
