GLOBAL RETAILER, a global shoe retailer operating over 4,800 stores across the Americas, faced limited analytics from its Manhattan WMS—reports were constrained to the prior 21 days, historical data was unavailable online, and running reports degraded WMS transaction performance. To solve this, the customer engaged XTIVIA to build a separate, near‑real‑time data warehouse using the TIBCO enterprise data management suite and custom ETL/services.

XTIVIA delivered a centrally deployed enterprise data warehouse and TIBCO‑based ETL (including TIBCO BusinessWorks and DataExchange) with wrapper services for monitoring, VEST transformations, and reusable enterprise services. The solution eliminated MS Access ad‑hoc reporting, enabled analytical reporting on up to five years of history, improved WMS operational performance by removing reporting load, consolidated data across two DCs for correlated analysis, and broadened data access and scalability across the business.
