Faceit Delivers Even More Competitive Esports Action by Partnering With Xsolla

FACEIT, the competitive gaming platform with more than 10 million gamers worldwide, wanted to expand its global reach and better monetize its growing community. In 2014, the company needed more payment methods than PayPal alone, plus more flexible subscription plans and stronger fraud protection to support its expanding esports audience. Xsolla provided Store, Pay Station, and Anti-fraud services to help meet these needs.

Xsolla implemented localized payment methods, custom subscription billing and renewal options, multi-subscription support, and FACEIT Points as a virtual currency, along with anti-fraud tools and a white-label storefront. The integration was completed by a combined team in six weeks and helped FACEIT dramatically improve its payments footprint and user experience. Between December 2014 and March 2018, FACEIT’s monthly website visits surged from 1 million to 13.5 million, a 1250% increase.
