The customer, Nucida, faced a challenge with fragmented and inconsistent testing practices across more than 40 mission-critical governmental systems in Germany. Without a centralized approach, their testing efforts were difficult to track, leading to strategic risks for essential public services used by millions of citizens. They partnered with vendor Xray to address this.

Nucida implemented Xray as the backbone of a new Test Center of Excellence, standardizing processes and creating a central repository. The solution resulted in a reusable library of over 2,000 test cases, established full traceability, and enabled weekly KPI reporting. This provided clear, data-driven visibility into software quality, improved defect detection, and allowed three departments to make reliable go-live decisions.
