The Evolution of LGS Recreation’s 10-Year Partnership with Xplor Recreation

Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation, a joint powers agency serving more than 65,000 residents in Santa Clara County, needed a recreation management system that could simplify staff training, support online registration, and help manage a wide range of community programs and facilities. As the agency’s operations grew, they also needed better reporting tools and a more flexible way to handle payments at events and at their Boathouse location. Xplor Recreation’s all-in-one recreation management software was selected to meet those needs.

Xplor Recreation implemented a cloud-based platform with an intuitive interface, online registration, reporting tools, and Xplor Pay for wireless payments. According to LGS Recreation, the solution streamlined staff training, enabled the majority of registrations to move online, and made it easier to generate reports for internal needs and grant support. Xplor Recreation also helped the agency solve a unique infrastructure challenge at its Boathouse by allowing transactions and check-ins over Wi‑Fi, while wireless payment terminals improved mobility for events and simplified point-of-sale operations.
