Large Multinational Energy Company, which hires college students and recent graduates across corporate, engineering, and operations roles, was overwhelmed by entry‑level applicants applying outside their region, specialty, and education level and by a high volume of repetitive candidate questions. They engaged XOR and its automated FAQ chatbot/AI assistant to help reduce time spent answering inquiries (about 4 hours per week) and to better route candidates to appropriate openings.
XOR implemented an AI FAQ assistant with a 478‑answer knowledge base covering onboarding, troubleshooting, benefits, careers, work environment, and company questions, and added automated job suggestions for candidates. In the first two weeks XOR’s assistant answered 1,059 questions and provided job suggestions to 212 candidates, cutting down manual inquiry handling and allowing the hiring team to focus on advancing the most qualified applicants.
