Overwatch Imaging, founded by engineers Nick Anderson and Greg Davis, builds high-quality hardware and software imaging systems for drones (products include Firewatch and Cropwatch). To move from concept to market they needed refined, production-grade parts and fast, reliable prototyping beyond what their office 3D printers could deliver, so they partnered with Xometry for both prototype and production components.

Xometry produced the vast majority of Overwatch’s prototype parts and all production parts, offering a higher level of quality and refinement that sped iteration and shortened time-to-market (for example, Cropwatch was kicked off in August and delivered by October). That support helped Overwatch win initial orders, demonstrate strong customer demand from forestry and large agribusiness customers, and scale its product line and operations.
