A Xometry Case Study

Preview of the iClick Case Study

How iClick used Xometry’s SLS 3D printing service to make affordable, long-lasting parts that both enhance and safeguard its robotics-enabled assembly line

iClick, a Seattle-based promotional product company, needed to keep costs low while running a highly efficient robotic arm assembly line for its PopGrip products. When one of the robotic arm’s internal airlines broke, production came to a standstill and the team faced an expensive repair quote, along with downtime that threatened output.

Xometry helped iClick solve the problem by providing a custom SLS 3D-printed mount and other production parts for the robotic system. The $20 Xometry part replaced a $13,000 repair, restored the arm’s vacuum function, and allowed iClick to quickly get production back on track while also continuing to improve its assembly workflow with durable, fast-turnaround SLS components.
