E & S Ring Management Corporation, a Culver City–based manager of more than 20 residential properties, faced rising monthly voice and data costs, fragmented legacy voice connections from multiple carriers, poor data quality, and a need to centralize control. After engaging CDW for carrier analysis, the company contracted XO Communications to migrate to a converged voice and data MPLS solution (XO MPLS IP‑VPN) to consolidate networks and replace aging TDM voice lines.

XO Communications deployed an MPLS‑integrated voice and data WAN—providing equipment and dropping new circuits at building locations in a two‑phase data-then-voice rollout—which simplified end-to-end management, added redundancy and scalability, and cut communications costs by about $8,500 per month (roughly $306,000 over the contract).
