The customer, We The Project (WTP), sought to build a single platform to empower content creators by helping them manage contracts, IP rights, and collaborations. Their challenge was an overly broad initial scope following the discovery phase. Vendor Xmartlabs partnered with them to refine the concept and develop a coherent platform that would help users identify their project's stage and manage agreements.

Xmartlabs implemented a reduced MVP with a lean approach, developing key components in-house. This included building a custom escrow payment system on Stripe and a scalable infrastructure for IP registration. The result was an integrated platform with a robust backend in Rails, a responsive frontend, and a CMS, providing a smooth mobile experience and a foundation for future iterations.
