A XLerant Case Study
Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company, a Fort Wayne-based mutual insurer serving more than 50,000 churches and related ministries, was struggling with a spreadsheet-heavy budgeting process that frustrated users, limited flexibility, and made it hard for finance to track progress or maintain ownership of budget numbers. The company needed a more user-friendly way to support its growing organization and strategic planning, and turned to XLerant’s BudgetPak to replace its manual system.
XLerant implemented BudgetPak as a cloud-based budgeting solution with a guided interface, built-in calculation logic, reporting tools, and a direct link to the general ledger. The result was improved user accountability, better visibility into budgeting progress, and faster reporting; finance also saved significant time and could focus more on strategic budgeting. More than 30 users benefited from the new system, making the investment easy to justify.
