A.T. Still University - Customer Case Study

A.T. Still University, a rapidly growing graduate health sciences institution, needed to replace a siloed, spreadsheet-based budgeting process that no longer fit its multi-campus structure, zero-based budgeting cycle, or need for better collaboration and long-term forecasting. The university also wanted more transparency and clearer detail behind budget requests, and it chose XLerant’s BudgetPak to support those goals.

XLerant implemented BudgetPak with a train-the-trainer approach, helping ATSU set up the system and train users live while shifting budgeting ownership closer to departments. The result was stronger communication, better visibility into line-item detail, easier zero-based budgeting across the five-year cycle, and less reliance on spreadsheets. ATSU reported that managers felt like partners in the process, with historical data carried forward and improved buy-in across the university.
