A XING Events Case Study
ISPO Munich (Messe München GmbH), the global leader in sports trade fairs, needed to attract a new specialist target group—HR managers in occupational health management—while generating comprehensive, filterable attendee data through preregistration. To meet these goals they partnered with XING Events, using a customised event marketing campaign and the XING TicketingManager to enable targeted preregistration and selective confirmation of visitors.
XING Events combined the XING Network, Event Plus features, targeted ads and the XING TicketingManager to collect tailored registration data and promote ISPO MUNICH to the right audience. The campaign delivered measurable impact: 25% of industry attendees came via the XING Network, 500 new contacts were added to Messe München’s database through preregistration, and 2,500 prospective attendees were identified via “Your Event Visitors” for personalised follow-up, alongside more than half a million event page views.
