Pwn Exchanges Manual Migration of File Share to Sharepoint for Xillio Software

PWN, a drinking water company in the Netherlands, faced minimal staff adoption of its new SharePoint portal and an inefficient manual migration process from its old network file shares. To address this challenge, the company partnered with vendor Xillio to find a more qualitative and effective method for transferring documents.

Xillio implemented its Content ETL Platform to perform an analysis and then execute a controlled, automated migration. The solution used selection and enrichment rules to deduplicate files, manage versioning, and improve metadata quality. The result for PWN was a significant reduction in the total number of documents that needed to be migrated, which increased staff adoption of the new portal and allowed them to confidently shut down their old network shares.
