Lenovo, a major multinational technology company, faced the challenge of consolidating its fragmented global websites, which were spread across different servers running on a custom CMS and Lotus Notes. This disparate setup complicated content management and the user experience. Xillio was engaged to migrate this complex environment of approximately 11,000 pages into a single, central Interwoven TeamSite web content management (WCM) system.

Xillio's solution involved a comprehensive inventory and analysis of all content, the creation of a detailed mapping sheet, and the addition of rich metadata to a new product taxonomy. After transforming and cleaning the content, it was successfully imported into TeamSite. The result was a single, simplified CMS for Lenovo's global operations and the introduction of new search functionality for visitors, which significantly improved both management efficiency and the customer experience.
