Global Chemicals Company migrates 51TB of archives to SharePoint Online with Xillio

The customer, Global Chemicals Company, a global provider of agricultural solutions, faced the challenge of migrating over 500,000 files from two outdated Documentum archives to Microsoft SharePoint Online as part of its shift to the cloud. They engaged the vendor Xillio to handle this complex project, which required moving content, mostly in Hebrew, while retaining all metadata and permissions.

Xillio implemented an end-to-end migration solution using customized connectors for the outdated Documentum versions. This allowed the full file and folder structure to be moved successfully. The result was a seamless migration of 51 terabytes of data with zero escalations, enabling employees to work in SharePoint Online with a fully recognizable look and feel.
