A Xerox DocuShare Case Study
Global Claims Management Company needed to accelerate a move to a paperless office by minimizing incoming physical mail, cutting costly and slow document retrieval/shipping processes, and improving timely access to critical files. They engaged Xerox DocuShare, leveraging Xerox® Digital Hub & Cloud Print Services and Xerox® Services for Digital Insurer to re-engineer their mailroom and digitization workflow.
Xerox DocuShare redirected mail to a PO Box, transported items to the Xerox Digital Hub where staff prepared, scanned, automatically indexed and uploaded documents into the client’s content management system, then securely destroyed originals as certified true copies. The program processes about 1,000 hard-copy documents per month, eliminated the need for a full-time mailroom at the Canadian office, sped access via digital notifications and direct links, streamlined electronic workflows, and added ISO-certified security and quality controls.
