Leading Aerospace Company faced a failing, labor‑intensive WaveScan-based document scanning process and feared loss of critical documents and data. Xerox DocuShare (using Xerox® DocuShare® Enterprise Server and a decentralized scanning configuration with two scan workstations) was engaged to migrate the WaveScan data and replace the workflow with a more efficient, secure solution.

Xerox DocuShare migrated the legacy data, implemented two scanning stations with server-based independent batches, and used structured form processing to automate much of the data entry. The result: faster, significantly more accurate scanning, operators no longer have to type every piece of data, critical information is stored in a secure, auditable system, and employees can quickly “Google” documents—fulfilling the Xerox team’s commitments and preventing data loss.
