Niagara Catholic School District - Customer Case Study

Niagara Catholic School District faced paper‑heavy administrative processes across 53 elementary schools, eight secondary schools and multiple adult education sites that hampered productivity, sustainability goals and storage (student files must be kept 55 years). To address frequent courier pickups, lost forms and long approval delays, the district turned to Xerox DocuShare, using the Xerox® DocuShare® Content Management Platform alongside Visioneer scanners and integrations with eSchool Solutions SmartFind Express® and Webernetic @Work.

Using Xerox DocuShare to store some 800,000 digitized documents and automate workflows, the district cut approval times from days to seconds/minutes, gave online access to more than 30,000 students, parents and teachers, eliminated a courier driver, repurposed 8,000 hanging folders, and saved $38,000 a year by publishing the monthly newsletter electronically.
