DeepOcean Chooses DocuShare CPX for Working Collaboratively— on Land and At Sea

DeepOcean, a market leader in subsea inspection, maintenance and repair, faced a fast-growing, M&A-driven business that generates thousands of data‑rich documents per project and must retain records for years while enabling engineers to collaborate from offices and offshore vessels. To address this challenge the company selected Xerox DocuShare CPX (deployed with integrator Aladdin Software) as its enterprise content management platform to unify project information and support cross‑border, on‑ship and onshore collaboration.

DeepOcean implemented Xerox DocuShare CPX by migrating Norwegian project files into project‑specific workspaces accessible over the WAN and satellite links to its vessels, initially rolling out 150 licensed users. The solution, supported by an added 28 TB EVA and shipboard storage up to 10 TB, gave engineers immediate access to live and historical documents, improved control, communication and compliance, and increased productivity and job satisfaction by enabling onshore and offshore teams to work on the same documents simultaneously.
