A Xerox Corporation Case Study
YWCA Greater Los Angeles, a nonprofit serving communities across 11 sites, was struggling with decentralized printing, high waste, and rising costs. The organization also saw a growing gap between the digital skills of at-risk youth and the needs of local employers, and turned to Xerox Corporation for help with its print environment.
Xerox Corporation recommended and helped implement a centralized in-house print center, using Xerox managed print services and related technology to support both production and workforce development. The result was an 80% reduction in print costs, faster turnaround times, centralized control across all 11 sites, and the launch of a Digital Learning Academy training youth in digital print, coding, and 3-D printing. The center also created a new revenue stream through outside print services, with profits reinvested into YWCA Greater Los Angeles programs.
