U.S. University, a long-time Xerox Corporation customer, was looking for a new way to help faculty use mobile devices more effectively and stay productive on campus. To address this challenge, Xerox introduced its Xerox® Mobile Print Solution alongside an upcoming renewal of dozens of existing Xerox devices.
Xerox Corporation offered two free Mobile Print licenses for testing and arranged a demo at a neighboring university, helping win support for the new solution. The university ultimately renewed 63 devices for three years and added the Mobile Print Solution in a total hardware and software deal worth $132,000, with plans to buy 200 more licenses and use the technology to attract tech-minded students.
