A Xerox Corporation Case Study
Spectrum, a digital printing company in Dubai’s International Financial Center, wanted to evolve from a traditional print shop into a niche digital communications business after its 2009 acquisition. To support that growth, it turned to Xerox Corporation and its Xerox® Digital Readiness Assessment (DRA), along with its existing Xerox® iGen3® 110 Digital Production Press, to identify what needed to change in sales and operations.
Xerox Corporation recommended consultative sales training and workflow automation to improve efficiency and help Spectrum move upstream with customers. Spectrum implemented a PDF-based workflow, a central server archive, Xerox® FreeFlow® Web Services, and Xerox® FreeFlow Process Manager®, creating Dubai’s first web-based job ordering portal. The changes drove a steadily increasing sales revenue and customer base, while Spectrum said it had “moved forward dramatically.”
