Volksbank Romania digitizes 8.5 million pages with Xerox DocuShare

Volksbank Romania, a commercial bank, faced the challenge of digitally managing a massive archive of 8.5 million pages of loan contracts. Their paper-heavy processing was straining client relationships, creating a need for a secure and efficient digital document management solution. To address this, they partnered with vendor Xerox Corporation and implemented the Xerox® DocuShare® platform.

The solution involved using Xerox DocuShare for web-based content management, alongside a scanning and archiving service from Iron Mountain. This implementation provided Volksbank Romania with instant access to documents, faster application processing, and better control over costs. The project was completed in under six months with a 99.8% accuracy rate for all processed information, significantly increasing work efficiency and productivity for the bank.
